This kit includes the Ikelite Dome Port and Olympus FCON-T02 Lens for use with the Olympus Tough TG-7 & TG-6 cameras inside an Ikelite housing. The Olympus Tough TG-series cameras excel in super macro photography, but have not traditionally been ideal for ultra-wide-angle shots. This specialised dome port is designed for use with the Olympus Tough TG-7 & TG-6 when paired with the Olympus FCON-T02 Fisheye Converter Lens and CLA-T01 Adapter.
The Circular Fisheye Converter provides a circular fisheye perspective when the camera is set to 24mm and diagonal fisheye capabilities when zoomed in. The resulting image quality rivals that of a Canon or Nikon 8-15mm fisheye lens on a full-frame DSLR, making it the perfect choice for ultra-wide-angle, close-focus wide-angle, and over-under underwater photography.
Macro Photography
The camera can be zoomed while the fisheye lens is attached, allowing it to focus up to a 30mm macro equivalent underwater. The optical-grade acrylic dome ensures sharp and bright imaging while remaining lightweight for easy handling and travel.
The Ikelite Dome Port replaces the standard flat port on the Ikelite housing. To install, simply unthread the flat port and thread in the dome port. A rubber strap wrench (not included) is recommended for easier removal and installation. The included dome shade reduces reflections, protects the dome, and provides a stable base when placing the housing face-down during assembly and disassembly.
Note: This dome port cannot be removed or replaced underwater. It may be used without the lens attached, but some reflections may appear when shooting towards bright light sources such as the sun.
